He belongs to the 1965 batch of IAS West Bengal Cadre. He has held responsible positions under the Government of West Bengal :- 1) Special Secretary, Finance and Commissioner Commercial Taxes, 2) Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayats and 3) Principal Secretary, Commerce and Industries.
With the Government of India he has held positions as Joint Secretary to Govt of India, Ministry of HRD, Incharge of Youth Affairs, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Welfare, Secretary, Social Justice and Empowerment and Secretary, Deptt of Youth Affairs and Sports. He retired from the IAS as Secretary to Govt of India.
Presently heading a National level NGO AFPRO –Action For Food Production working in Natural Resource Management, Watershed and Livelihood programmes for Tribals, SC and marginalized population of India. He is involved extensively in areas of work connected with management of water and made extensive studies regarding water balancing and innovative approach in capacitating communities. Low cost input approach for water management is unique in AFPRO's interventions. AFPRO has been working in arid zones to find solutions in hard rock areas in India and also bringing awareness among communities and designing sustainable water harvesting structures in rural India.
Don Mario Y. Dia is presently a Director and Treasurer of Bronzeoak Philippines, Incorporated. A company engaged in the development of Renewable/Alternative Clean Energy projects such as San Carlos Bioenergy, Inc. (the country's first integrated ethanol and co-gen plant in Negros Occidental). He is likewise the Vice Chairman of San Carlos Biopower, Inc., engaged in the development of a 20MW Biomass Power Plant inside the San Carlos Economic Zone and President of Central Tarlac Biopower, Inc. He is also the financial adviser of San Carlos Solar energy, Inc.(SACASOL), the first solar farm in the country.
Mr. Dia has over 25 years of experience in corporate finance, retail and investment banking, risk assets and general administration. He also possesses a unique combination of expertise in banking, logistics, risk management, customer satisfaction, information technology, six-sigma orientation, program & project management and organizational restructuring.
Mr. Dia established half of his entire career in banking and the rest from various private corporations. Rose from the ranks being programmer/systems analyst, credit investigator/appraiser; then as Account Officer at Allied Banking Corporation (includes a seconded job at Allied Capital Resources in Hong Kong); then becoming the youngest group Head & Senior Manager at Far East Bank and Trust Company (includes a brief stint at Chemical Bank,HK doing investment trading for FEBTC); also was a Senior Vice President and Executive VP of two thrift banks respectively. His stint with private corporations focused primarily in the field of Corporate finance being CFO of Enchanted Kingdom (the first theme park in the a Philippines); Head of Treasury and Special Projects for the Lorenzo Group of Companies (Lapanday Holdings, Pepsi-Cola Products Phils., Sterling Tobacco & others); Treasurer and Finance Director of Platinum Plans; and EVP and Chief Investment Officer for United Gains Ltd., HK.
Mr. Dia has also been a Consultant and Receiver to various companies engaged in real estate development, education, industrial and commercial manufacturing, venture capital, and project management. He is a member of various prestigious organizations such as: The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry(PCCI); European Chamber; Federation of Philippine Industries; Management Association of the Philippines (MAP); Ethanol Producers Association of the Philippines (EPAP); and Biomass Alliance of the Philippines.
He received advanced trainings in management and finance from Cornell University, the Asian Institute of Management, and De La Salle University. He is one of the first batch that have successfully completed 'The Training Program on Project and Program Management for the Philippines' conducted by the Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship (AOTS) in Tokyo, Japan in February 2010.
He is happily married to Arlene with whom he has four Professional children (Angelo-35, Achilles-34, Patricia-25 and Christine-23) .
I have been with the renewable energy industry for since 2005 where I started by Working with Developmental Association for Renewable Energies (DARE) as a co-founder
and National Coordinator. Here I worked on the CDM project Efficient Cook Stoves for Nigeria, The Solar Lamps Assembly and sales training programme, Solar Dryers for Healthy
foods project and a host of others. With the knowledge and experience gathered, I branched out to handle the commercial aspects of the renewable energy industry
by launching Sosai. Sosai Renewable Energies offers efficient, reliable and sustainable products for example solar lamps, solar home systems and water filters to
the people of mostly the rural and peri urban communities of Northern Nigeria. I have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, A master's in Banking and Finance and

Hamisi Saidi Mikate, is an Electrical Engineer by profession, possessing Postgraduate Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering and Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Also, he has a diploma in Strategic Business Management from SIPU International and Jarskog Konsult under Sida's International Programme, this was one year program between February 2014 to February 2015. In 2016, he was one of the cohort of East Africa Stanford Seed transformation program, which is administered by Stanford University through Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies. In the year 2015 to 2016, Mr. Hamisi Mikate was selected to be in the team of professionals for a 'Practitioners' Dialogue on Climate Investments', specifically was responsible to develop a solution on 'Creating markets for off-and mini-grid renewable energy solutions'. This program was implemented by GIZ. Director and founder of Ensol Tanzania Limited, 16 years experience in Renewable energy business. Hamisi Mikate is the CEO of Ensol Tanzania Limited since 2004, before he worked as a Technical Director in the same company which was established in 2001. He is a Board Member of Energy Plus Limited, Bwelui Company Limited and Watu na Umeme Limited, subsidiaries of Ensol (T) Limited; all four subsidiaries are focused on Renewable Energy business. He is a founding member and a member of Executive Committee of Tanzania Renewable Association (TAREA), an umbrella organization for Renewable Energy stakeholders in Tanzania. Mr Koen Peters is Executive Director of the GOGLA since August 2014. He has over two decades of international work experience in both public and private sector roles. Prior to joining GOGLA, Koen worked at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, being responsible for e.g. promoting private sector investment in renewable energy and household access to energy in Africa and Indonesia. Earlier, he worked as consultant supporting international business initiatives in developing countries. During this period he co-founded and co-managed a solar PV company in Tanzania and was project manager of one of the first projects aimed at solar mobile phone charging solutions, in Uganda. In earlier years of his career he worked for the Dutch government on international cooperation; for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development; and for the British Department for International Development. Koen has a Master degree in Environmental Engineering from Wageningen University and a Master in Business Administration jointly from Nyenrode University and Kellogg School of Management.

the Malaysian Biomass Initiative (MBI) formulated under Global Science and Innovation Advisory Council (GSIAC) endorsed by The Honourable Prime Minister
of Malaysia, Puvaneswari holds a bachelor degree in Environmental Science and a Masters in Environmental Management from the National University of Malaysia (UKM).
Puvaneswari leads the country's initiatives to spearhead the development of high value green chemical biorefinery from biomass as a source of sustainable feedstock. The intent of the project is to position Malaysia as a green chemical hub while moving up the biomass value chain. As a subject matter expert in green technology, her previous appointment was with Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT) under the purview of Prime Minister's Department, as Senior Principal Analyst. She is also a pioneer member of GSIAC Secretariat, establishing strategic programme for the country in realising Vision 2020. In this capacity, she coordinated local and international GSIAC council members including world renowned scientist, Nobel Laureates, Captain of Industry, Heads of Corporations, Economists, Senior Government Officials and Academia.
Rumjhum Chatterjee is one of the co-founders of Feedback Infra Group. She serves as a Director on the Board of Feedback Infra Pvt. Ltd. She is also the Chairperson of the Feedback Foundation Trust.
The Trust is implementing a Model Village Project in Mewat, Haryana as the CSR Project of the Feedback Infra Group. In a span of 1.5 years, this project has received two major awards in recognition of the outcomes it has achieved. It has recently been declared as the 1st Green Gold Rated Village in India by Indian Green Business Council (IGBC).
Rumjhum pioneered the practice of community led interventions for R&R post land acquisition for infrastructure projects. Her paper on 'Sustainable Rehabilitation Interventions through Community Engagement' was published in the India Infrastructure Report 2009, published by 3iNetwork.
A leading practitioner of the management of human capital in the infrastructure sector, she was recognized as one of the 20 Most Talented HR Leaders in India by the World HRD Congress in 2013.
She has a deep interest in the subject of women's empowerment. She is the Chairperson for the Jury of the Selection Committee for CII's Women Exemplar Award and has represented the industry's views on the subject before Parliamentarians in India. She also participated in a closed door interaction to discuss women's empowerment with Prime Minister of Japan, Mr. Shinzo Abe, during his visit to India in January 2014.
Rumjhum is currently the Chairperson for CII's Northern Regional Council that comprises 9 States. She is the first woman to be nominated to this position.
She serves as a member of the Governing Body of HelpAge India and a Trustee of '3E Education Trust' (HDFC Schools).

Valeria Cantello graduated in Electrical Engineering at the Politecnico of Turin (Italy). After a few years in consulting, in 2005 she joined in Energrid S.p.A., a leading Company in the Italian energy trading sector. Valeria Cantello is currently responsible for developing new business opportunities in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy.
In her role, she recently managed the start-up activities of the Energy Efficiency Division and she is now in charge of identifying new business and investment opportunities in international markets, with a special focus on Middle East and Africa.
Formerly Responsible for R&D activities, she managed several projects funded at the national and European level, aimed at promoting energy efficiency, sustainable mobility, distributed generation and smart grids. On behalf of Energrid, she participates in the technical working groups within ASSOESCo (Italian Association of Energy Service Companies), AIGET (Italian Association of Energy Traders and Wholesalers) and the Innovation Clusters promoted by the Piedmont Region.
